About SilentCompound
Every project has a story.
Some begin with a business plan.
Others with a product.
SilentCompound began with an idea.

An idea that gradually attracted a small group of like-minded people.
People from different backgrounds like: data analysts, market participants, investors, probabilities enthusiasts, students of human behavior and decision-making.
Some come from financial markets, others from sport markets.
Some have spent decades studying risk, uncertainty and performance in higly competitive enviroments.

What connects them is not a profession, a location, or a title.
It is a shared way of thinking.
A belief that meaningful results are rarely driven by certainty.
  • That discipline matters more than exitement.
 • That long-term thinking matters more than short-term outcomes.
 • And that survival is often more important than brilliance.

SilentCompound exists as a place where these ideas can be explored, challenged and refined.

The story that follows belongs to the person who originaly conceived this project.
The philosophy behind it is shared by everyone who helped shape it.

                              Cosmin Bunda
Former Professional Poker Player • Sports Trader • Investor
Born one year before the fall of the communist regime, in Bucharest, next to the largest stadium in the country. Maybe that was the first sing.

Today, I'm approaching the second half of my life.
And yet . . . I'm still not ready to tell the full story.

Maybe in 10 years. Maybe in 20. Maybe never.

Very few people truly know me.
Fewer than the fingers on one hand.
People who have been by my side for over 15 years.
People who trust me even when life forced me to stay in the shadows.

To everyone else . . . I'm just a cold man.
Arrogant.
Serious.
Uninterested in life.

And I let them believe that.

The truth is, this barrier isn't accidental.
It's protection.

I don't trust people.
And I can't afford to.

Inside my circle . . . things are completely different.
I laugh almost every day.
I work with people I trust.
We have a sense of humor pushed to the extreme. Sometimes childish. Sometimes too dark for most.

But real.

Not even my own family truly knows who I am.
They only know what I choose to show.

2016 was the year everything broke.

I was forced to leave Romania. Permanently.

It wasn't a choise.
It was an escape.

Accounts frozen.
Money confiscated.
Constant surveillance.

I lived in multiple places at the same time.
And they still found me.

The last time . . . at my mother's house.
For a two-hour lunch.

They knew exactly where I was.

Hours of interrogation followed.
They knew more about me than I knew about myself.

At the end, I told them one thing:
''If you ever get close to my family again, it won't end well.''

I didn't know how much truth there was behind everything.
But they did.

Three days later . . .Â
August 3rd, 2016.

I was on a plane to London.
With tears in my eyes.

Years followed filled with questions.
Analysis.
Silence.

In 2025, I finally got a medical answer:
stress-induced cognitive impairment and dysthymia.

I work with a psychotherapist and a mental coach.
I'm doing what I can to stay afloat.

Today, I live in a small town in England.
I have a normal job.

But in parallel . . . I do what I've alway done.

For over 20 years, I've studied and operated in volatile environments .

Professional pokerÂ
Sports betting&trading

I've been:

an analyst under pseudonims
a bookmaker under false identities
a professional poker player
crypto holder, and stock market investor

I've traveled across 3 continents.
I turned all of this into a business.

This was never gambling.

It was:

mathematics
psychology
discipline
risk management

Over time, I became obsessed with one thing:

controlling risk.

Sometimes it feels like risk and I have reached a silent agreement:
we respect each other . . . but we don't trust each other.

Built on mindset. Driven by vision and strategy. Sustained by discipline and consistency.
That is what this project it about.

Everything starts in the mind. Before there is a result, there is a thought. Before there is a strategy, there is a vision. Before there is discipline, there is a decision. Before there is consistency, there is a commitment.

Most people spend their lifes searching for better opportunities. I became interested in something else: the foundation behind them. The invisible elements that determine whether people succeed or fail.

Over time, I came to believe that almost every meaningful achievment rests on four pillars: Vision. Streategy. Discipline. Consistency.

But none of them cand exist without the foundation beneath them.

Mindset.

Because vision is useless without the mindset to believe in it. Strategy is useless without the mindset to follow it. Discipline is impossible without the mindset to embrace discomfort. And consistency cannot survive without the mindset to keep going when progress is invisible.

Everything else come later.

Markets. Investing. Business. Competition. Probability. Risk. Performance.

Different environments. The same principles.

Over the years, I realized that outcomes are often temporary. What truly matters is the quality of the decisions behind them. The ability to remain rational when emotions take over. The abilty to stay disciplined when shortcuts look attractive. The ability to think long-term while everyone else is focused on tomorrow.

This is not a place for predictions. It is not a place for certainty. And it is definitely not a place for shortcuts.

SilentCompound is a place for ideas. A place for people who understand that meaningful results are rarely built overnight. A place for those willing to think differently, act deliberately and stay patient.

Beacuse in the end, almost everything compounds.

Knowledge compounds. Experience compounds. Discipline compounds. Relationships compound. Capital compounds. And the quality of your decisions compounds.

Most people search for opportunities. The real advantage comes from how you think.

Because in this game, the smartest doesn't win. The one who survives does.

This is not just a project.

It's a lifestyle.

Stay silent. And compound.
